Welcome to Warrior-Scholar-Servant. This site documents the journey of me (K.T. Martin) as I strive to improve myself physically, spiritually, and mentally. Each of these three areas has been narrowed into specific subsets of personal interest. As such, physical improvement is being focused on the idea of becoming a warrior. Mental improvement is focused on developing the skill to be a scholar. Lastly, my spiritual development is focused on becoming a Servant of God. More on each of these categories is explained below.

Warrior
Warriors have been an important part of every human society since the beginning of known history. Historically, they often men, but sometimes women, who were dedicated to protecting their people, tribe, city, state, or nation from the dangers of the world. These dangers could involve different beasts found in their area or other opposing groups of people.
There have been numerous famous warrior cultures or societies throughout history. Some of those include the Aztecs, the Spartans, the Romans, or the Samurai. It is my goal to take elements of the traits that made these men great warriors and apply them to myself. This means a focus on self-discipline as well as physical and military prowess. I am also a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu so that will be worked on as well. The goal is to develop my body to peak performance with the ability and skill to defend myself as well as those around me. This aspiration is going to take a lot of dedication and time to achieve.
Scholar
It is my opinion that the mind is one of the most powerful things in existence. It is mental fortitude that often makes or breaks a person. It is the mind that limits a person based on what it understands to be possible. The more you know, the more you understand, the more you are ultimately able to achieve. A truly capable man (or woman) must push themselves to study every area of knowledge known to humankind. This doesn’t mean becoming an expert in every subject, but becoming well versed and educated generally. I want to develop a basic understanding of all areas of truth and knowledge that exist. On the more important topics, I want a deeper understanding. For this reason, I will be studying all kinds of topics such as history, music theory, mathematics, languages, economics, masculinity theory, psychology, religion, philosophy, and others. The areas of study are limitless. I never want to stop learning, and ultimately I believe that is what it means to be a Scholar.
Servant of God
I am a very religious person, and spirituality is important to me. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am an ordained Elder and I hold the Melchizedek Priesthood. I want to continue to develop my spirituality and increase sensitivity to prompting from the Holy Ghost. I want to feel very confident about my ability to communicate with God. I want to be someone who feels prepared spiritually to be called at any moment to assist with the work of Zion. I want to proudly call myself a Servant of God. This is going to be done through a lot of spiritual study and prayer.
